Try it freeHolly Cohen is an occupational therapist, assistive technology practitioner, and educator with almost 30 years of experience helping people with disabilities live more independent and connected lives. She has spent her career bridging the gap between people and the tools that can transform their daily lives.
AdaptABLE World grew directly out of Holly's doctoral research at Boston University — and a simple truth she observed across years of clinical practice: too many people never get access to the assistive technology information they need. This chatbot is her answer to that gap, making expert-level AT guidance available to anyone, anytime, in a format that works for them.
Holly is also the co-founder of DIYAbility, an inclusive makerspace in New York City focused on designing and customizing AT solutions, and an adjunct professor at New York University where she teaches assistive technology, universal design, and accessibility. In 2016, she delivered a TED Talk on the intersection of making, inclusion, and assistive technology.
Book a one-on-one virtual assistive technology consultation with Holly. She'll help you identify the right tools, devices, and strategies for your unique needs — whether you're an individual, caregiver, or provider.
